Two formative school years on the threshold to secondary level

During this phase, students not only expand their knowledge but also develop the important ability to act independently and take responsibility for their own learning. We actively support them in this process and work together to ensure lasting academic success.

5th/6th primary school

In our combined 5th and 6th grade class, pupils consolidate the essential skills acquired during primary school while being thoroughly prepared for the transition to secondary level. For those who perform strongly, the path to a long-term upper senconday school (Langzeit-Gymnasium) remains open. We plan each educational transition with care and in close collaboration with both pupils and parents. All decisions follow the official regulations of the Canton of Zug, providing a well-founded and sustainable basis for admission.

A key focus at this stage is personal development and the journey toward independence. Our teachers promote self-directed learning through structured task planning and regular progress checks. They recognize each pupil’s unique potential and offer individualized support, working closely with our academic coaches where needed. Special talents and giftedness are nurtured within the classroom setting and may be further developed through targeted enrichment programs.

This approach provides an optimal foundation for pupils to reach their personal goals, whether that means progressing to secondary school or preparing for admission to a upper secondary school.
